About The Founders

Satvik Energy Therapy and The Satvik Training School has been founded and is taught by Rev. Sarah Cox (pictured right) and Yvette Richards (pictured left). Sarah and Yvette trained together as Energy Therapists in 1997 and have both established and developed successful clinics.

For the 15 years that Sarah and Yvette have known each other they have shared a passion for personal development and spiritual growth. With the help of skilled counsellors, therapists and mentors both Sarah and Yvette have undergone their own journeys of personal awareness, healing and change.

They have attended the same spiritual support group for over 13 years and in the last 5 years have both been committed to their spiritual development through a psychological and spiritual training called 'A Course in Miracles' (ACIM). ACIM is not a religion, but a powerful spiritual path that leads to the experience of love, peace, forgiveness and, ultimately, God.

The Satvik Training School and Energy Therapy is congruent with the principles of ACIM, but will also be recognised by those practising any religion or genuine spiritual path.

Sarah is a fully ordained Interfaith minister, trained at Interfaith Seminary in London.

Yvette is a fully trained and experienced counsellor who worked with Relate for many years. Yvette now has a private practice working with couples and individuals and specialises in working with addiction and ‘The Work’ of Byron Katie. Yvette brings a spiritual perspective to her work and has been running a study group for ACIM for over 5 years.
