Energy Therapy Training Course: Training Syllabus
The Satvik Energy Therapy Training Course builds upon the training provided
during the Satvik Foundation Programme and deepens and extends the practices to
enable students to become more energetically powerful. In addition to the skills
already learned in the foundation course, the syllabus will include:
Counselling
Students will be required to continue working with a counsellor. A minimum of seven counselling sessions will be required for successful completion of the course. This is an essential requirement of the course as it is only when we have undergone our own inner journey of personal awareness, understanding and growth that we can begin to understand the types of difficulties facing our clients
Listening and Reflecting Skills
The skills developed in the Foundation course will be built upon to enable students to become excellent professional listeners. Having the ability to sit with our client's pain in a truly compassionate and empathic way is vital to their healing journey.
Healing Protocol
During the 5 months of training, students will be taught an energetic healing
protocol that will enable them to work energetically with others. Satvik Energy
Therapy is extremely powerful and can help others shed their blockages and
barriers to 'perfect balance'. The treatment addresses the three core elements
of good health i.e. physical, emotional and spiritual dis-ease and discomfort.
The course has been designed to ease students into working energetically;
initially on each other during the training weekends and, later, students will
be encouraged to start working/practicing on family, friends and acquaintances.
Each month the engagement with Satvik Energy Therapy will deepen and students
will benefit tremendously from the work they give and receive to each other
during the training weekends.
Spirituality
During the course students will be encouraged to further develop and deepen
their spiritual practice. As students begin to work more dynamically with the
energy of themselves, nature and others they begin to yield to the phenomenal
mystery of life, surrendering ideas of mastery and control. As we begin to
surrender to the possibility of a more peaceful and guided life, our spiritual
path becomes a very important element in our day.
Nutrition
If we are to become and remain energetically strong enough to work with others
then we must eat in a way that allows us to achieve and maintain enough
energetic strength and power for this task. Therefore we will be focusing upon
the importance of diet in terms of keeping our energy levels high whilst
engaging in demanding work with clients.
Psychic Development and Protection
As Students begin to increase the flow and strength of energy flowing into their
bodies as a result of working energetically on others they will begin to
interact with a range of experiences and/or phenomenon that is quite unknown to
our western culture. The course will provide students with all the knowledge and
skills required to step into these new energetic experiences in a safe and
supported way that builds motivation and excitement as opposed to anxiety and
uncertainty.
Professionally and confidently working with clients
In addition to working energetically, potential clients place many additional
demands on therapists during a treatment. At the School, we place a great deal
of emphasis upon ensuring that students feel confident to address any situation
that might arise during a session; from answering difficult questions about how
Energy Therapy works, dealing with emotional breakdowns during a session,
working with children and with those who are critical and/or disbelieving that
Satvik Energy Therapy can work.
Meditation
During the course students will be taught how to deepen their experience and
therefore increase the positive benefits of meditation. Developing a strong
inner stillness along with the ability to flush out the energetic debris picked
up from clients is essential to the continuing health and vibrancy of
therapists.
